An EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) is one of two certification requirements being introduced as part of legislation, primarily affecting the commercial sector in the property market. The EPC will show the theoretical energy efficiency of a building against comparative building bench marks of a similar size, age and usage.

The certificate asset rating is displayed geographically on a scale of A-G and always accompanied by a recommendation report providing measures on how to improve the energy rating on a building, both of which are valid for ten years. Commercial buildings being constructed, sold, renovated, let or part let after these dates will need a commercial EPC. We provide Domestic EPCs on residential properties for both letting and sales.

We will conduct a thorough assessment of your building and the services used and then using Government approved iSBEM software we will produce an Energy Performance Certificate and a Recommendation Report, giving suggestions on where improvements could be made to both the building fabric and the heating, cooling and lighting systems used, along with payback periods for each.
